Students join choir with many different levels of experience. Some have performed for years, while others are singing in a choir for the first time. The Van Alstyne ISD Panther Choir will help students develop their voices, improve their musicianship, and grow as performers.

Do I need previous singing experience?

No. Students join with many different levels of experience, and choir classes teach healthy vocal technique, music reading, and ensemble skills.

Do I have to audition?

Audition requirements can vary by class or activity. Contact the choir director for guidance about the right class for you.

What grade levels can join?

Choir is available at the appropriate middle school, junior high, and high school grade levels in Van Alstyne ISD.

What if I already selected my classes?
